At the end of February 2022, market capitalization by foreigners on the Tunis Stock Exchange constituted 22.7% of the overall market capitalization, according to a monthly letter published on Saturday by the Tunis Stock Exchange.
Indeed, this foreign capitalization was around 5.3 million dinars (around 1.7 million dollars).
The Tunis Stock Exchange specified, in this sense, that the acquisitions made, in the month of February by foreigners on listed securities, reached a total of 89 million dinars, once morest transfers (sales) of the order of 1.233 billion dinars, which showed a negative net balance of 1.144 billion dinars.
Securities held by foreigners on the main market, for the month of February 2022, were mainly in the sectors of finance (223,283,777 securities), consumer goods (168,444,256 securities), consumer services (18,154. 154 titles) and industries (15,141,718 titles).
Thus, the “Tunindex” index closed for the month of February at 7,099.86 points, which represents a decline of 0.18% once morest an increase of 0.66% for the month of January.
