Pedro Castillo: Opinions of congressmen one day after the debate on the presidential vacancy

For her part, Norma Yarrow reiterated that she supports the presidential vacancy, but assumed that they still do not have the necessary votes for the removal of the president. She also said that they will be attentive to what comes out on the Sunday programs.

“The president continues to divide the social classes and the people with his speeches that he has had in Cusco, Ayacucho, Calca. All respect to the press because their investigative units are part of the team that wants to save the country,” said the parliamentarian.

Norma Yarrow He lamented that the president and his prime minister are only dedicated to insulting Congress and said he hoped that the benches would analyze their vote well, and he also described Pedro Castillo as a “mythomaniac” who doesn’t even “know what he’s talking regarding.” Regarding the possible arrival of observers from the OAS, he was very dissatisfied with it.

“The OAS has no interference with us. Out of respect, perhaps the president of Congress will allow them to enter, but if it were me I would not let them pass (to the chamber) because it is an issue that the constitution clearly endorses us,” he asserted.

Cueto doubts that the president will come to Congress

Finally, the congressman Jose Cueto hope that the President Castillo goes to Congress as he stated on the eve, but said that he had great doubts regarding the president’s word. He pointed out that it would be unfortunate if he did not appear in front of Parliament.
