Zoom allows broadcasting through Twitch

Zoom has announced a new feature that makes it easy to stream video conferences on Twitch. It is achieved by a native Twitch integration in the Zoom app itselfso that once both accounts are connected from the Zoom configuration menu, a couple of clicks will suffice for a meeting, videoconference or seminar to be broadcast more widely through streaming from a Twitch channel.

A webinar convened through Zoom will now be able to reach a wider diffusion through Twitch natively

From Zoom it is stated that with this new possibility the ability to share content from communities is enhanced, something that seems quite oriented towards users. seminars and business trainingalthough of course it can be used beyond the strictly professional field: education, leisure, entertainment, media, community meetings, neighborhood assemblies…

The way to achieve this diffusion is very simple since the option «Live on Twitch» to the same menu where similar options were already offered that allowed Zoom content to be shared live through Facebook or YouTube.

This inclusion facilitates the method that until now had to be used to broadcast a communication through Zoom from Twitch, consisting of sharing the address of the virtual Zoom meeting and the access code through the latter platform. Now it’s as simple as setting up your Twitch user account in Zoom and selecting the corresponding option in the live broadcast menu through external platforms.

This incorporation completes or complements the development that Zoom had prepared through Zoom Events for the organization of online events and coworking.
