Spin-off from the Japanese license, “Stranger Of Paradise” is eyeing the side of the Team Ninja studio.
“Stranger Of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin”: behind this extended name hides a title developed by the creators of the “Nioh” saga. It features Jack and his friends, who must overcome various trials in order to restore the brilliance of the crystals of Cornelia, a kingdom invaded by the forces of evil. From the royal city of Cornelia to the port city of Pravoka via the Temple of Chaos, we find throughout the journey places dear to “Final Fantasy”.
Largely action-oriented, this role-playing game also allows you to mix all kinds of classes to create a hybrid warrior capable of breaking mouths by the thousands. This wealth of customization offers almost infinite replayability, and we like it.
Unfortunately, all these good intentions are somewhat served by technically lame graphics, low-end sound effects and a level design without much interest. Only the music stands out from this sensory fiasco. But not enough to cool the most assiduous players, conquered by this gameplay of absolute abundance. The search for the ultimate fighter may well sit on a few quickly forgotten flaws.
Tous supports. Team Ninja. Multi.
