[Video game]Rumored Sony will launch game subscription service next week to compete with Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass

At the end of last year, foreign media broke the news that Sony developed a game subscription service code-named Spartacus by integrating the current PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now to compete with Microsoft’s similar service, Xbox Game Pass. “Bloomberg” recently quoted people familiar with the matter as saying that the Spartacus service will be launched next week and will include a series of latest game titles, but the heavyweight new work “God of War: Ragnarok” has not been provided.

The service will offer three tiers of monthly fee plans. The entry-level Essential plan is only $10 and can play selected games every month, positioned like the current PlayStation Plus. The middle Extra plan is $13 and can play 250 to 300 games, positioning it close to the current PlayStation Now. As for the highest-tier Premium plan, which is $16, you can play new PlayStation games and classic games, get early access to new games that are not yet on the shelves, and play streaming games.
