On her birthday (March 25, 2022), Martiniquaise Valérie De Lépine, is co-pilot of the Air France Airbus A320 called “Le Diamant” on the Caribbean regional network. We followed him this morning, from the departure from Guadeloupe, towards Martinique.

An Airbus from the Air France company, of the Caribbean regional network, called Le Diamant landed this Friday morning (March 25, 2022) in Fort-de-France.
Since 2019, the company has revived an old tradition, that of naming its planes following cities. A fine tribute to the Diamond, which will see its name radiate throughout the world.
The mayor of the commune Hugues Toussay was present to baptize the airliner.

And to convey this Airbus A320, the Air France company has chosen among its pilots, the Martiniquaise Valérie De Lépine.
At 40, she has just over 3,500 flight hours. A passion job, with staggered hours where few women manage to impose themselves.
An exemplary, difficult journey that requires a lot of involvement and sacrifice. Thanks to her hard work, she obtained a baccalaureate, completed a scientific preparatory course and followed her training in a flight school.
