On the occasion of Future Games Show Spring ShowcaseNACON and Big Bad Wolf Studio (The Council) unveiled a new video of Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansongwhich details the many RPG components of the game.
In this adaptation of the paper role-playing game, the players of Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong embody heroes, each with a character sheet. According to their choices, they evolve the statistics of the characters. Thanks to Skills, it is possible to break a lock, intimidate an NPC or even have a greater deduction capacity when faced with a clue. The higher the level of mastery of a Skill is higher, the more the possibilities of actions are numerous.
Besides these Skillsthe 3 protagonists have vampiric powers, called Disciplines. Galeb, the oldest of the trio of heroes, uses the Fortitude to resist physical attacks and to counter the use of Disciplinesopponents once morest him. Emem, elegant queen of the night, uses the Speed to reach inaccessible places. Leysha, hypersensitive and accompanied by her daughter Halsey, uses theOccultation to erase her presence… and with a high level of mastery she is even able to make certain objects disappear from view!
By customizing character sheets, players have many options. But it is by concentrating on a style of play that they will develop Talents, which are permanent bonuses.
