The film also won the Netflix Award for Best Malayalam Film. The FFSI KR Mohanan Award for Best Debut Director in India was shared by Prabhash Chandra, who directed I Am Not the River Jhelum, and Tara Ramanujan, who directed Nishidho. The award was presented by Culture Minister Saji Cherian at the closing ceremony in Nishagandhi. The closing ceremony was inaugurated by Finance Minister KN Balagopal under the chairmanship of Saji Cherian.
Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui was the chief guest at the function. D Suresh Kumar, Jury Chairman Girish Kasaravalli, Chalachithra Academy Chairman Ranjith, Cultural Department Principal Secretary Rani George, Academy Vice Chairman Prem Kumar and Academy Secretary C Ajoy were present.
