The Department of Meteorology at the Directorate General of Civil Aviation expected the weather in Lebanon tomorrow, Saturday, to be partly cloudy to cloudy with high temperatures, and active winds sometimes that intensify in the northern regions, reaching 65 km / h. Rainfall is renewed in the evening and snow at an altitude of 1100 m. We warn of the formation of snow on mountain roads that are above 1100 meters during the night and early morning hours, and we warn of the complete lack of visibility sometimes on the heights in the evening as a result of the formation of thick fog, and the following bulletin stated:
– General situation: The cold air depression currently centered in eastern Turkey, accompanied by cold air masses to the east, continues to affect the eastern basin of the Mediterranean with temperatures below their seasonal rates for the month of March by regarding 6 degrees and more.

Friday: Partly cloudy to cloudy with a slight rise in temperature and scattered rain and snow at an altitude of 900 m and below in most areas. The rain will subside in the followingnoon and gradually recede from the evening, and we also warn of the formation of snow on mountain roads that are above 900 meters during the night and early morning hours. Thick fog continues to appear on the heights, with sometimes complete lack of visibility.

We warn of the formation of snow on mountain roads that are above 1000 meters during the night and the early hours of the morning, and we warn of sometimes completely poor visibility on the heights in the morning due to the persistence of thick fog.
Monday: Few clouds with a noticeable rise in temperatures, especially on the mountains, the interior and the southern regions (regarding 5 degrees), but in Beirut and the north, the height is limited and remains below their rates.
Expected temperatures: On the coast from 8 to 15 degrees, above the mountains from 0 to 7 degrees, inland from 1 to 5 degrees.
Surface winds: Southeast to southwest, speed between 20 and 50 km/h.
Visibility: Medium, worsens at heights due to fog and precipitation.
