[Almaty, 24th Archyde.com]-Kazakhstan’s Energy Minister Acturakov said on the 24th that crude oil exports from the country via the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) are expected to resume within a month. He told the television station Atameken Business Channel.

In the meantime, it is possible to change some crude oil supply routes to tanker transportation in the Caspian Sea and pipelines to Samara and China in Russia, but it is recognized that the decrease in exports due to the closure of CPC cannot be fully compensated. Indicated.

Crude oil exports via CPC stopped completely on the 23rd due to bad weather damaging port facilities on Russia’s Black Sea coast.

The CPC pipeline is partly owned by US oil giants Chevron and ExxonMobil. According to Acturakov, of the total export volume of 67.6 million tons last year, 53-54 million tons were Kazakh crude oil.
