“This National Assembly has turned its back on Ecuadorian women, on young Ecuadorians, denying them the opportunity for employment and prosperity. I want to tell all of Ecuador that this law has been denied because we have not accepted the blackmail of assembly members who come to ask for hospitals, electric companies in exchange for their vote”.
“The last straw is that the Assembly members have come to ask the Government for money in cash. We cannot allow the corruption of tax evaders who want to redeem their vote because we do not charge taxes”

This March 24 the project of Investment Law suffered its first refusal in the Legislative. The benches of UNES and Pachakutik prevented the approval of this document sent from the Executive. Then, with 87 votes, the Legislature denied and filed the bill.
