MetroGAS users can now pay their bills with the interoperable QR

Tapthe fintech dedicated to promoting payments via Interoperable QR on utility bills, announced the incorporation of MetroGAS to this system implemented by the Central Bank under the Transfers 3.0 standard. With 2.4 million customers within its coverage area, MetroGAS is the largest gas distributor in the country, so its incorporation into the Interoperable QR represents another important milestone.

The fintech had already incorporated Edenor into the system, the first company in the country to come out with this collection method, which is printing invoices with QR that can be read with Tap, Mercado Pago, Ank, MODO, Ualá, among others. Edenor is the company that provides the electricity distribution and commercialization service within the northwestern area of ​​the City of Buenos Aires and 20 districts of the Buenos Aires suburbs.

We know the pains that companies with large collections face and that is why we decided to create something new for them”, explained Litvin.

TAP, founded in 2019, is the fintech that allows paying the most taxes through its application and is used for that purpose by more than 500,000 people.
