The Prime Minister, Anatole Collinet Makosso made a field visit to Loango to inquire regarding the conditions under which this infrastructure awaited by the population will be erected. A delegation of Congolese authorities led by Prime Minister Anatole Collinet Makosso visited the Kouilou department on Tuesday March 22, 2022. This visit is part of the preparations for the centenary of Pointe-Noire. The said delegation visited several sites, including the one to house the public University of Loango. As part of the activities included in the program of this celebration, the construction project of the University of Loango, in the department of Kouilou, near Pointe-Noire, was at the heart of the discussions between Anatole Collinet Makosso and his suite. During the celebration of 100 years of Pointe-Noire, the Head of State Denis Sassou Nguesso will lay the first stone for the construction of this higher education establishment. Anatole Collinet Makosso was accompanied by a delegation comprising, among others, members of the government, the High Commissioner to the Steering Committee for the construction and creation project of the University of Pointe-Noire, Hilaire Bouhoyi, the prefects of Pointe- Noire and Kouilou and several technicians.
