Less temporary than expected. The Swiss National Bank (SNB) decided on Thursday to raise its inflation forecast quite sharply for the current year, to 2.1% against 1% at its last meeting in mid-December. The projection for next year has been raised to 0.9%, (from 0.6% previously). For 2024, it also stands at 0.9%, indicates the institution in its review of the economic situation.
