Fuel prices in Luxembourg for diesel and petrol are rising again

Fuel prices in the neighboring country will be raised once more: what motorists will pay for petrol and diesel at Luxembourg petrol stations from Thursday.

Especially for diesel fuel, prices had fallen sharply in Luxembourg by Tuesday. But now fuel prices are picking up once more. Prices rose once more on Tuesday night. And since Thursday there have been even higher prices:

The diesel is more expensive by a whopping 10.9 cents. Then 1.88 euros per liter are due. Gasoline is also getting more expensive. A liter of petrol 98 now costs 1.826 liters (previously 1.787 euros) and is therefore 3.9 cents more expensive, like that daily sheet communicates. With gasoline 95, following Tuesday’s increase of 0.7 cents, it is now another 3.3 cents more from Thursday. The liter then costs 1.727 euros (previously 1.694 euros).

At the beginning of the Ukraine war, fuel prices in Luxembourg had skyrocketed. An announced increase of 38.4 cents for diesel had caused traffic jams and chaos at the gas stations. A few days later, the price then plummeted by 41.7 cents. Ups and downs followed – further price rounds are foreseeable given the market situation.
