Only two months following the announcement of the departure of Edith Cochrane, we already know the identity of the one who will co-host alongside André Robtaille at the TV kids.

This Wednesday morning, Radio-Canada revealed that Mélanie Maynard would take over the chair left vacant by Edith.
“I am excited to join the TV kids. It’s a show that I already love, a television set that’s always pleasant to visit as a guest… and now I’ll be there every week, what a pleasure! I can’t wait to discover all these archives, to participate in discussions with the guests … and surely to tease them a little, in my own way, ”said Mélanie Maynard via a press release relayed by Radio-Canada.

Remember that in January, Edith Cochrane announced that she was bowing outfollowing eight seasons on the set of TV kids. His filming ended, precisely, last January.

As for the next season, the 13th, filming will begin next May. It will air during the 2022-2023 TV season. Note that the show will be recorded in a new setting. It will therefore be to be seen!
let’s remember that TV kids began in 2010 with the duo composed of Véronique Cloutier and Antoine Bertrand, who will have been there for four years. André Robitaille and Édith Cochrane then took over.
With her background in animation, both TV and radio, and her sparkling personality, there is no doubt that Mélanie will be perfect in this new role!
