CochinKochi International Airport has announced more services ahead of the March 27 ban on international flights. Kochi, the third busiest airport in the country for international travel, will have 1190 services a week from next week. Now it is 848.
CIAL said in a statement that the number of services in the domestic and international sectors will increase. 20 airlines will operate services from Kochi to various cities abroad. Of these, 16 are foreign airlines.
Indigo will operate the largest number of overseas services from Kochi. There will be 42 foreign services a week from Kochi to IndiGo from next week. It is followed by Air India Express and Air Asia Berhad with 38 services.
