In 22 currencies led by Commercial International, Cairo, The United Bank of Alexandria and HSBC, the dollar exchange rate reached regarding 18.45 pounds for purchase, and 18.55 pounds for sale.
In the Central Bank of Egypt, the dollar exchange rate reached regarding 18.44 pounds for purchase, and 18.57 pounds for sale.
The lowest exchange rate for the dollar was in 3 banks, namely the National Bank of Egypt, Banque Misr and the Greek National Bank, where the dollar exchange rate recorded a level of 18.43 pounds for purchase, and 18.53 pounds for sale.
In the gold market, the price of a 24 carat gram rose to 1147 pounds, compared to 1135 pounds at the end of trading on Tuesday. And the price of a gram of 18 karat gold increased to 860.20 pounds, compared to 851.17 pounds at the close of trading yesterday.
