“I’m fed up! I’m not in Koh-Lanta to watch”: here is who was eliminated from the TF1 adventure game

Thirteenth day of adventure for the participants of Koh-Lanta: the cursed totem. Strained by hardship and torn by hunger, organisms suffer. In particular among the Reds who are subscribed to defeat in comfort tests. Among the Yellows, it was the last Council that left its mark. Tied once morest each other, the fate of Stéphanie and Benjamin was decided by drawing lots and it was the latter who left the adventure.

Everyone is in a hurry: to restore their health by winning the new comfort game that is offered to them. Make way for the raft test. Subtlety, you have to build two boats: a traditional raft and a canoe. Blessed bread for Bastien among the Yellows and Géraldine among the Reds. Masters in the art of knots, they are the laborer to make the tubs. A mission smoothly carried out on both sides, none of the rafts or canoes had to suffer from problems of design and solidity.

There remained however to win a comfort that was more than the eye in both camps. At stake, there was not only the fishing kit – the waters of the Philippines are reputed to be very fishy, insisted Denis Brogniart – but also grilled fish. One per person for the winners, a super luxury!

And woe to the vanquished immediately warns the host. Because it will be for him the triple punishment. He will see the fish and the fishing kit pass under his nose, and he will also receive a handicap for the immunity test disputed 2 days later.

On the program: 2 races, one in a canoe, the other in a raft, with each time half of the teams on board. The principle is simple, it’s a chase that takes place in an “oval” on the water. Whoever catches up with the other must tear off his flag to win. Two successes and the case is closed.

A cursed totem that wreaks havoc

It starts in the worst way for the Yellows. Their canoe takes off… in the wrong direction. It goes towards the Reds instead of turning clockwise. A boon for opponents who crunch them in less than two. But when it came time to establish their success with the same raft event, the Reds missed out. Their helmsman, Jean-François, is not following the right trajectories. To top it off, he does not row enough in the eyes of his teammates. Adrift, without speed, the Reds are quickly overtaken by the Yellows who return to equality. Back on the camp, Jean-François will admit to being responsible for this defeat.

A third round is played to determine the winner. Each team decides to compete with its canoe. New trajectory problems lead to a defeat for the Reds. Maneuvering among the Yellows, Bastien piloted his boat like a Formula 1, with rope turns, while giving his instructions to the entire crew. Terrifying efficiency.

Needless to say that the Yellows are jubilant, while the Reds are in a slump at the end of the race. They are deprived of fish, fishing kit and have a handicap for immunity. To make matters worse, Jean-Philippe has serious problems with his feet, which have swollen terribly. What amused his teammates at the start of the episode ended up worrying everyone. Jean-Philippe is forced to call the adventure doctor and goes to the clinic. We will not see him once more until the end of the episode, the problem might have serious consequences on his health, warned the doctor. To top it all off for the Reds, their fire also went out during the ordeal… The curse of the cursed totem took its toll this time…

A miraculous comeback

Hunger was at the heart of the episode. The whole part between the test of comfort and that of immunity shows how the organisms are at the end of their tether and the morale of the adventurers is at its lowest. With the Reds, it’s more than understandable, they who always miss the comforts. But this is also the case with their opponents. And it is not because they have swallowed a fish and benefit from a fishing kit that the Yellows are satisfied. Because all their spearfishing attempts have been unsuccessful. They all returned empty-handed.

It is therefore with empty bellies that the two teams present themselves for the immunity test. It’s regarding reconstructing a pattern from strips of fabric to be recovered at sea. A game that the Reds start 20 seconds behind the Yellows because of the cursed totem picked up during comfort.

For the teams to be equal in terms of participants, Denis Brogniart draws lots among the Yellows to find out which woman will not take part in the event. The spell goes following Stephanie who pulls a black ball for the third time, she who had already been unable to participate in the previous comfort for the same reason. The croupier enrages, violently throws the cursed stone to the ground, shouting “I’m fed up. I did not come to Koh-Lanta to watch”. Disappointment, rage even, can be read on his face.

A disappointment all the greater as the Yellows will lose their footing in this game and bow despite their advantage of 20 seconds. They proved to be messy, even ineffective when putting their puzzle back together. A boon that the Reds did not miss with the controls of a formidable Amber of efficiency.

“It’s violent what you say there…”

Defeated, the Yellows are summoned to the Council. Stéphanie knows it, there is a price on her head, she who narrowly escaped elimination last week. But she’s not the only one shaking. Yannick and his two cursed bracelets already have two votes once morest him. As for Setha, she doesn’t feel safe either, but she continues to bluff into believing that she has found an immunity necklace.

In an attempt to reverse a trend that she feels is unfavorable to her, Stéphanie launches a major destabilization maneuver: breaking the alliance that brings together the ex-Blues Alexandra, Olga and Collin.

In front of Denis Brogniart, the tension is more than palpable in the team. The faces are closed and the critics fuse, well fueled by the questions of the presenter. Olga deplores the attitude of the strongest who prevent others from expressing themselves among the Yellows. In his sights, there is Yannick. The burly falls from the clouds and does not appreciate the thing. “It’s violent what you say there”, he replies. And when Collin, ex-Blue, praises the cohesion of a team of Yellows who knew how to forget the colors of the past of its members, it is Stephanie’s turn to reframe it by denouncing the alliance of ex-Blues. This is advice that will certainly leave traces for the rest of the adventure.

After counting the vote, Stéphanie is forced to note that her strategy and the counter-fire she lit did not work. With 4 votes once morest her, she leaves the adventure deploring not having had the chance to show what she is worth on the games because of the black balls. As for Yannick, he was very hot with 3 votes once morest him, including his two cursed bracelets.

Next Tuesday, Koh-Lanta will relax. The show will be back in fifteen days.
