The singer-songwriter released her new album “Motomami” last week, which has already broken historical records in Spain.
As part of the promotion of his new album, “Motomami”, Rosalía she pretended to be a reporter to find out, on the street and first hand, what Spanish passersby think regarding her work.
The singer was invited to the experiment during her time with the Hispanic star “The Anthill”where she had to radically change her look to avoid being discovered.
“I am not a fan of Rosalía, of the boyfriend (yes)”, commented a couple to the astonishment of the singer-songwriter. “She has a lot of merit. She is good, but she is not my style, ”an older woman replied when asked before the indiscreet camera.
Another of the participants was even more emphatic: “The girl merges with the Latin… It is an aberration, what do you want me to tell you?he pointed.
“When they sing a cappella they don’t know how to sing, but when they put the autotune in efe, and it seems that they sing (…). That children like that kind of music today, yes, but it’s only because of the rhythm,” he added.
In another of the passages in the clip, the artist compares herself to C Tangana and ask the corresponding questions. “I like Tangana better,” a group responds immediately.
Despite the negative reactions, the Spanish took the answers with humor. “So far my internships have come… It will be the first time, but not the last,” remarked the reporter Rosalía.
With “Motomami”, Rosalía became the Spanish artist (both male and female) with the most reproductions in history within 48 hours of a release.
The Iberian singer, in turn, was the female artist (both Spanish and international) most listened to in Spain during the first two days of the album.
