the 3th edition of the “Car Of The Year Morocco 2022” is on track, the objective being to determine which of the 19 contenders in the running will succeed the Ford Kuga, in order to claim the title this year.
Building on the success of previous editions, the Association of Automobile Importers in Morocco (Aivam) continues with the third edition of “Car Of The Year Morocco 2022”, a flagship event that has become a must in the Moroccan automotive landscape.
Is it necessary to specify that through the realization of this “COTY Morocco”, Aivam fully places this event within the framework of the many prerogatives allocated to it, including that linked to raising awareness among the general public through the promotion of the automotive sector.

Concretely, this election begins this Wednesday, March 23 with the static evaluation of the contenders who are 19 in number. What to do for the jury, composed of journalists specialized in the automobile, a first selection according to evaluation criteria such as defined by the internal regulations of COTY Morocco filed with the Notary of the event, namely Master Majid Benjelloun Zahr, and to keep only 7 nominees who will continue the adventure.
The latter will have to satisfy the dynamic tests which will take place therefollowing. This will allow this same jury, through its votes, to designate the car of the year 2022. The lucky winner will be revealed next May during a dedicated evening. The latter will also be broadcast in digital format through social networks for the attention of the greatest number. Precisely, the list of vehicles eligible for the election of the car of the year 2022 consists of 19 models, namely: Audi A3 Sedan, Audi A3 Sportback, Citroën C4, Dacia Logan, Dacia Sandero, Hyundai Creta, Hyundai i10 , Hyundai Tucson, Kia Sorento, Mercedes C-Class, Renault Express, DFSK Seres 3, Seat Arona, Skoda Octavia, Toyota Yaris, Toyota Corolla Cross, Volkswagen Caddy, Volkswagen Golf 8 and Volkswagen T-Roc.

Also, the COTY 2022 jury is made up of Khadija Dinia (Luxury Life Morocco) elected President of the Jury, Jalil Bennani (M-Auto-M24 TV), Moulay Ahmed Belghiti (Les Inspirations ECO), Mehdi Laaboudi (Maxmag) , Mohamed Akisra (Le Matin), Nabil Sbaï Tanji (I want to buy a car!), Leila Benjelloun (Golf du Maroc), Hicham Smyej (Medias24.com), Essam Chraibi (wandaloo.com) , Mourad Khezzari (Gentlemen Driver) and David Jérémie (Challenge).
