Mezzour receives a delegation from Israel Aerospace Industries this Wednesday

Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), a company specializing in the production of aerial systems for military and civilian use, has set its sights on the development of investment projects in the aeronautical industry sector in Morocco.

In this sense, a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Industry and Trade and this Israeli aeronautical construction company will be signed tomorrow, Wednesday March 23, 2022, in Rabat.

It should be recalled that Morocco signed and concluded, in February, an agreement for the purchase of an air defense system with Israel Aerospace Industries worth 500 million dollars to acquire the Barak-MX system, l purchase overseen by IAI CEO Boaz Levy and former defense minister, and currently new Israeli defense industry chief Amir Peretz, according to Israeli news outlet Globes.

It should also be recalled that the Kingdom signed with Israel, last November, a memorandum of understanding in the field of military and security cooperation, during the official visit of the Israeli Minister of Defense to Rabat. The agreement allows Morocco to easily obtain high-tech Israeli security equipment, and to work for cooperation in operational planning and research and development.
