The Korean manufacturer offers two new mid-range smartphones, at very competitive prices.
Sold respectively for €369 and €509, the new Galaxy A33 5G and Galaxy A53 5G are two new Android devices from Samsung, intended mainly for a young audience.
The Korean brand relies on four elements to seduce its audience with 5G compatibility at an affordable price, an advanced photo experience, premium quality with an AMOLED screen, solid processor-level performance and the promise of regular updates.
On the photo side, the two devices stand out from other models in this price range by their quadruple rear sensor, which includes On the side of the A33 we find an ultra-wide-angle sensor of 8 megapixels, a main sensor of 48 megapixels, a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 5-megapixel macro sensor. A combination that covers most of the needs of amateur photographers. The real evolution in the mid-range, however, comes from the software, with the support of artificial intelligence in the photo capture, which promises sharper results with night photos. Enhanced Night Mode automatically takes up to 12 images at a time to deliver just one that includes less noise. The A53 benefits from slightly more powerful sensors, including a 64-megapixel main sensor. On the selfie side, the difference is a little more marked with a 13 megapixel sensor for the A33 and a 32 megapixel sensor for the A53.

However, it is in terms of their general specificities that the two devices impress the most with Super Amoled screens of 6.4 and 6.5″ respectively, 90 and 120Hz respectively, an octa-core processor, 6 to 8 GB of RAM depending on the model and a huge 5,000mAh battery. The device comes full options with fast charging (25W), 5G and updates guaranteed for a period of four years.
The marketing of the two models is planned from April 1st.
