She was already cheering him on from the stands when he was still playing football in high school in Texas. It was there that Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Matthews met and fell in love as teenagers. The two have been a couple for around ten years – now they swore eternal loyalty.
The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and the fitness influencer got married in Hawaii on Saturday. The 26-year-old shared impressions of the wedding with his five million followers in an Instagram post. He wrote “Mr. & Mrs. Mahomes” and added a white heart emoji.
The first picture shows Patrick and Brittany beaming under an arch of flowers. She wears a figure-hugging white wedding dress with a low neckline and cut-outs to a long veil. He chose a classic light gray suit for the ceremony.
Wedding with friends, family and teammates
The sea can be seen in the background. According to the American “People” magazine, the two celebrated in Maui with friends, family and some of Mahomes’ teammates. In other photos, which you can see by clicking on the arrow on the right of the picture, you can see the couple with their daughter.
