“The sour taste is a little different from before, and I ate the same kimchi as before, but it feels different…”

There are studies showing that autoantibodies made to protect the body from viruses cause sequelae due to abnormalities in the immune system, but the exact cause is still unknown.

However, it is known that symptoms and severity vary depending on age and underlying disease.

“It is said that there are many severe sequelae in people with obesity, smoking, and now diabetes.”

Experts explained that the most common symptoms, cough and shortness of breath, usually go away spontaneously over time.

However, in some cases, it progresses to serious diseases such as pneumonia.

Therefore, if you have severe shortness of breath or have a sequelae of high fever lasting more than 3 days, it is recommended to get tested.
