The Academy of Cannabis Medicine is the first institution in the country that began to grant diplomas, courses and workshops for the medicinal use of cannabinoids aimed at health professionals.

Dr. Mirna Flores Meza and Dr. Rubén Pagaza Ramírez seek to educate doctors in order to help them eradicate the taboos that this plant has through evidence and scientific studies.

They have a network of certified doctors in different parts of the republic, likewise anyone can approach the social networks of the academy to be put in contact with one of their professionals and can have specialized treatment.

The diploma in cannabis medicine has 120 hours of classes in which they teach from the history of cannabis in Mexico, the pathologies treated with cannabinoids, safety and adverse effects, to regulatory issues.

AMEDCANN is certified by the Secretary of Public Education (SEP) and has academic endorsement from the Higher School of Medicine (ESM) of the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN).

In addition to the diploma, they have courses for health care providers, for clinics, cannabis psychology, cosmetology and even food, which are taught by specialized professionals trained by the same academy.

AMEDCANN together with the Mexican Society of Medicinal Cannabis will hold on May 20 and 21 the 1st. National Congress of Endocannabinology and Regenerative Medicine at the XXI Century National Medical Center that will feature 20 national and international speakers and is aimed at students and health professionals.
