the press rather bewitched by this Japan, all the notes

New game from Tango Gameworks studios, creators of The Evil Within games (with Shinji Mikami as big boss), Ghostwire Tokyo releases today, Tuesday, March 22, 2022 on PS5 and PC. If we already gave you our verdict early yesterday followingnoon, it’s time to do a press review and see what the other media have thought of it. A little tour on the Metacritic allows us to see that the game is doing well with a nice 75% average for 94 reviews listed. If it’s rather positive overall, we also see that the opinions are still quite divided with negative tests all the same, like that of Metro Game Central which gives it a bad 4/10. Roughly speaking, Ghostwire Tokyo accuses its classicism in its structure and its open world, knowing that the game sometimes abuses back and forth not very useful too. For the rest, the title of Bethesda manages to transport us to a perfectly modeled Tokyo and above all invaded by ghosts from Japanese folklore. The fact that we use jutsu-type powers and never firearms also makes the difference. While waiting for the players’ rating, here are those of the specialized press:
