No new games in sight, but additional content. This keeps the product on the market, potentially boosting sales, and satisfying those who lack novelty.. Nintendo announced it at the beginning of the year, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will have a little refreshment with an update and new circuits available since this week–end !
A lot of destinations, keeping the principle of the game, namely finding circuits that we already know since they come from old games. As a result, we will find Promenade à Paris which comes from Mario Kart Tour, the mobile version, Circuit Toad from Mario Kart 7, Montagne Choco from Mario Kart 64, Supermarché Coco from Mario Kart Wii, Traversée de Tokyo from Mario Kart Tour like the Dojo Ninja, Corniche Mushroom from the DS version and finally Flying Garden which comes from the Game Boy Advance. All this for free if you have l’abonnement Nintendo Switch Online + Additional pack, otherwise you will have to take out 25€ on the Nintendo eshop.
This is just the first wave of new circuits. Nintendo has announced 48 new ones divided into six waves until the end of 2023.
