Former People’s Power General Election Commissioner Kim Jong-in advised President Moon Jae-in to create conditions for President-elect Yoon Seok-yeol to work.

As Yoon-elect’s short political career has not yet been able to grasp the political landscape, it is judged that the possibility of political reform centered on him is low for the time being.

On the followingnoon of the 21st, in MBC radio’s ‘News High Kick of Pyo Chang-won’, on MBC radio’s ‘Pyo Chang-won’s News High Kick’ on the followingnoon of the 21st, former Chairman Kim said, “It is a problem that can be solved if the elected president meets and talks with the incumbent president.” He said, “Will the two of you meet soon?” He predicted that this would be a problem that might be solved at the meeting.

When the host asked, “In this situation, whether President Moon Jae-in or President-elect Yoon Seok-yeol shows a little more change in attitude so that the meeting can take place and work well?” Kim said, “After all, because a new president has been born, a new president can’t work for a president who is resigning. I think it would be wise to actively cooperate to create the conditions that exist.”

Regarding the tasks that President-elect Yoon needs to solve urgently, former Chairman Kim said △ measures for the 7.2 million self-employed who have been economically devastated by the corona virus △ drastic changes in education issues, labor market issues, financial issues, and economic structure issues △ the world’s lowest fertility rate ( 0.81) and countermeasures.

Former Chairman Kim said, “We need to show leadership to ‘how to solve this problem in the mid- to long-term’,” said the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family. It also ordered a cautious approach to the abolition issue.

Regarding the view that some believe that there is a possibility that President-elect Yoon may try to reorganize the political system in order to solve the situation of women and children, former Chairman Kim pointed out that “political reorganization cannot be artificially done, it has to be done naturally.”

He continued, “Since President-elect Yoon Seok-yeol has not been a politician, it will be difficult to understand the power of the people as a whole. Since it is inseparable from politics, there may be talk of a political reorganization, but at the moment there seems to be no such talk.”
