Six additional passengers on the infamous disruptive influencer flight on Sunwing’s wings have been fined by Transport Canada.

Five of them were not fully vaccinated, while the sixth person who was fined failed to comply with the requirement to wear a face covering. The fines received by these “ostrogoths” might reach $5,000.
This brings to 12 the number of people fined so far.
“There are consequences for those who break the rules! Six new fines of up to $5,000 have been issued to travelers on the Dec. 30 Mtl-Cancun flight. Five fines for non-compliance with vaccination and one for not wearing a mask. Twelve fines so far. More to come!” Federal Transport Minister Omar Alghabra tweeted.

Six other passengers were fined by Transport Canada two weeks ago. Notices of non-compliance had also been issued at the beginning of February in connection with the Quarantine Act.
Remember that several Quebecers have been talked regarding when images shared on social networks showed them celebrating on board a Sunwing plane on December 30.
Some travelers had difficulty returning home following the broadcast of these videos, several airlines refusing to board them due to non-compliance with their vaccination status.
