Theater and film actress, public figure, she is one of the founders of the Podari Zhizn charity fund Chulpan Khamatova, who is settling in Latvia, KP reports.
The artist, who complained regarding the lack of money and work following leaving Russia, finally got a job. The chief director of the New Riga Theater Alvis Hermanis said that he offered Khamatova, with whom he worked together on the play “Gorbachev” in previous years, a place in his theater.
“Soon Chulpan Khamatova will participate in our shows. At the initial stage, in her native language,” the director said.
