Laure and Matthieu, star couple of the previous season of Married at first sight, will have an important role in the new edition which begins this Monday, March 21. They told us more regarding their boost given to a candidate.
Here we go once more for a new season of Married at first sight this Monday, March 21 from 9:10 p.m. on M6. Fourteen new singles are regarding to embark on this crazy adventure. To celebrate their union, the bride and groom will fly to Gibraltar. An assumed choice of production to make the experience even crazier. The previous season had seen uniting Laura and Matthew. A few months later, the couple welcomed their first child: a little Lya. Viewers will also be able to hear from them in a special episode, broadcast in the second part of the evening soon. In a filmed interview they give us, Laure and Matthieu explain that they were asked to support a candidate this year.
Matthieu called to the rescue by the production
“One of the candidates had somewhat the same profile as me, with the same values and had the same vision as me on marriage. With Laure, we went to meet him to reassure him. It’s Bruno. He needed to talk, he had uncertainties, he needed an answer. We had dinner in the evening with his family, it was very nice“, explains Matthew. “We especially reassured his family“, adds Laure. An idea initiated by the expert psychologist Estelle Dossin : “I said to myself ‘a good example is better than a long speech’, I took my phone“, she specifies. And this is not the only appearance that they will make in the program.

The M6 cameras visited them in their daily lives as parents. The opportunity to discover their little Lya. The two lovers for a time asked themselves the question of the media exposure of their child: “on the networks, we don’t want to expose it too much. There we asked ourselves the question for Married at first sight, what happened to them? and in fact we said to ourselves that we owed ourselves that because our story was born on TV. People have followed us, they are curious. Lya is the result of our love. We had to share and show that.“Laure would like to clarify:”We see her very little. It’s really stealthy normally.
