After seven years, another mystery has been revealed in The Witcher 3.
Around seven years following the original publication of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt CD Projekt has now confirmed another secret.
It is regarding a discovery of YouTubers xLetalisin which he elaborates on this mystery affecting the character Vivienne from the DLC Blood and Wine.
Vivienne’s last secret
CD Projekt’s Quest designer Philipp Weber previously had this as Vivienne’s “last secret”. designated. “It’s on Skellige,” he said during a livestream a few days ago. And it goes “a whole lot further” than fans might expect.
So what’s the point? About the quest “The Warble of a Smitten Knight” in said DLC Blood and Wine.
Here Geralt meets Vivienne de Tabris, who suffers from a curse that makes her look like a bird. Geralt offers to lift the curse, but she notes that she would only live as long as the beast anyway.
It’s kind of poetic that my 7-year Easter egg was found almost 7 years following the release of @witchergame.
Hats off to @xLetalis for his detective work on the game! https://t.co/bCXVFrOtbY— Philipp Weber (@PhiWeber) March 20, 2022

As it has now turned out, that’s seven in-game years. Anyone who lets Geralt meditate for seven years (or speeds up time with console commands) will eventually find Vivienne dead in Yennefer’s room in Kaer Trolde Harbour.
xLetalis documented his find in a video. Weber also shared the corresponding tweet and congratulated him on his find.
“I’m not sure if it’s the last secret, but it’s definitely pretty close,” Weber shares IGN with. “Everyone has been hiding so many details over the last few months of development that people will probably find something new one day.”
