Vika Tsyganova, who supported the special operation, criticized Baskov’s patriotism

The famous Soviet and Russian 58-year-old singer Vika Tsyganova, who supported the Crimea, Donbass, and recently the Russian special operation in Ukraine, did not believe the patriotic statements of 45-year-old People’s Artist of the Russian Federation Nikolai Baskov. She thought he was just “changing shoes”.

Recall that earlier Baskov wrote on his Instagram that Russia’s special operation in Ukraine “fully complies with international law”, noting that this is self-defense of Russia and its allies. After that, the Ukrainian court issued a sanction in absentia for the arrest of Baskov.

“I don’t believe Baskov, who suddenly became a patriot,” Vika Tsyganova said in an interview with Newsru.com. According to her, some representatives of show business simply “changed their shoes.”

Vika Tsyganova stressed that she had never seen such “changed shoes” colleagues at concerts in the DPR and LPR and in the Crimea before the referendum.

The singer added that it would be better for Baskov to just “sit and be silent.”
