The Moments of AlUla season revealed a closing ceremony for its events in the desert city of AlUla in Saudi Arabia, where the “Music in Antiquity” show will be held on March 24 at Jabal Ikma, the most comprehensive and diverse open library of rock carvings and drawings in AlUla.

It is noteworthy that the evidence that was discovered through inscriptions on rocky surfaces in Jabal Ikma and its surroundings confirms that music was part of life in Al-Ula over thousands of years of successive civilizations, as the rock inscriptions in the shape of a harp date back to 2500 years, and archaeologists confirm And specialists in rock art that these inscriptions show that they were an important part of the life, customs and rituals of the inhabitants of the region at that time.
It is noteworthy that Naseer Shamma is considered one of the most prominent oud players and composers in the world. Naseer Shamma is called the “UNESCO Artist for Peace.” He has performed hundreds of concerts in different countries from all over the world and received more than 60 musical and humanitarian awards.
