Australian ANCAP experts tested the Haval H6, crashing four cars. The tests included frontal impacts with 100% and 40% overlap, as well as side impacts with a pole and a moving cart. In addition, they evaluated the strength of the seats, the safety of the hood, as well as the operation of electronic systems.
The safety of adults in crash tests is a solid 90%, child passengers are protected by 88%, active safety systems have worked by 81%, but the Haval H6 is less friendly to pedestrians and cyclists – the points were enough for 73%. Comparable results last summer showed BMW iX.
