Al-Marsad newspaper: The specialist in research in carcinogens, Dr. Fahd Al-Khudairi, replied: To the question “Does boiling tea bags cause cancer?”.
Al-Khudairi said, in a tweet via his Twitter account, “There is a wrong message that boiling tea bags makes them carcinogenic, and this is not true, unless the bags are made of plastic only.”
He explained: “But the ones we have are made of cloth and paper, and we don’t have bags made of plastic, so this warning does not apply to them.”
