It is noteworthy that Ukraine has witnessed, since last February 24, a Russian military operation described as limited in the east, but it quickly expanded south and north until it reached the vicinity of the capital, Kyiv.

This prompted an unprecedented security alert in Europe, and between Moscow and the West. It also imposed painful sanctions on Russia, numbering more than 5,000, and affecting various sectors.

In addition, that operation, amid this level of tension, awakened the specter of the outbreak of a third world war, especially with the NATO countries aligning strongly with Kyiv, whose countries sent qualitative military and financial aid to Ukraine to confront the Russian attack.
