Breath of the Wild nach

A The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild-Fan has taken tremendous effort to bring Hyrule into Minecraft rebuild, starting with the Great Plateau, where you reawaken as Link and get to know the first shrines and enemies. The Breath of the Wild tutorial area is a good starting point for such a large Minecraft project.

What have we not already seen in Minecraft? After all, there are players who recreate entire cities like New York. But there are also a lot of mods that Turn Minecraft into a kind of “The Walking Dead”.. Somehow the inspiration of the players seems to know no bounds.

The next “Megabau” comes from Reddit user “lg_cuber”, aka Grazzy, who has shared images of his previous work on Reddit, recreating the familiar landscape of the Great Plateau from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Wii U). The Temple of Time, the local Sheikah Tower and even the various shrines scattered across the plateau are all clearly visible. And that should only be the beginning.

Minecraft players want to recreate the entire Hyrule from Breath of the Wild

Over time, lg_cuber intends that he would like to recreate all of Hyrule in the block world of Minecraft. Without big words: A powerful project! He has already received a lot of praise from the other Reddit users for the Great Plateau, which is certainly a good motivation to continue. While he’s understandably cautious regarding recreating the interiors of all 120 shrines, lg_cuber has assured Reddit commenters that he does intend to recreate all of the titans and Hyrule Castle.

One game, many projects

Minecraft is a game that lends itself well to this type of project. But the “working time” behind it is hard to imagine, so I wouldn’t be surprised if we didn’t find out for many years that the project was “completed”. The shrines can certainly be built well underground, but you certainly don’t want to underestimate this project.

Minecraft is available for almost every platform. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was released on March 3, 2017 for Nintendo Switch (as a launch title) and Nintendo Wii U. A “spiritual successor” is announced for 2022although many are already of the opinion that this will not happen any time soon.
