Yoon Seok-yeol’s side initially announced, “There is no public schedule for Saturday.”

However, President-elect Yoon, who arrived at the Oval Office in Tongui-dong following 10 am, got into the car and left around 11 pm to visit the Oval Office in person.

Together with Chairman Kim Han-gil, Chairman of the National Unification Committee, and Chairman Kim Byeong-jun, Chairman of the Special Committee for Balanced Regional Development, he toured the Gwanghwamun Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of National Defense in Yongsan for two hours.

After returning to the Oval Office in Tongui-dong, President-elect Yoon met privately with Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon, and it is speculated that he would have talked regarding cooperation with the Seoul Metropolitan Government in relation to the relocation of the presidential office.

President-elect Yoon will hold a press conference at the Samcheong-dong press conference room in the morning of the 20th and explain the plan to relocate the presidential office directly to the public.

The takeover committee, which was officially launched with a signboard ceremony, also returned the weekend.

As President-elect Yoon first mentioned the issue of compensation for COVID-19 losses at the first plenary meeting, Ahn Cheol-soo, the chairman of the transition team, also focused on this issue.

It is said that they discussed the appointment of the special committee to start the Corona Emergency Response Committee in earnest from this week.
