Al-Marsad newspaper: Lawyer Ibrahim Al-Hussein revealed the details of a case filed by a man once morest his wife to break the marriage contract between them because of her smoking. He pointed out that the judge ordered the termination of the contract and the return of the full dowry in the amount of 180,000 riyals.
The lawyer explained in a video clip posted on Twitter: “The details of the case are due to the husband’s discovery that his wife was smoking before he owned her, pointing out that the wife confessed to him and this was proven during conversations between them.”
He added: The wife admitted that they had already smoked, but then repented. While the husband insisted on annulling the marriage contract, justifying that she might go back to smoking once more and that he did not want a woman of this type.
He pointed out that the case ended with the judge issuing a decision to annul the marriage contract and return the full dowry to the husband, whose value is 180,000 riyals.
