Prosecutor 60 of the Metropolitan Area of Caracas was appointed to investigate a specialist in general medicine, who allegedly mistreats and assaults his students while they are doing internships.
The case went viral on social networks when a video was published in which E. Rodríguez, who is a specialist in general surgery at the Central University of Venezuela hospital, is verbally assaulting a student during a procedure.
The journalist Román Camacho in his social networks indicated that the video is from a few months ago, but it was not revealed at the time for fear of reprisals.
Following the publication, prosecutor Tarek William Saab announced the start of investigations to find the person responsible. He would be charged with the crime of libel, according to what was revealed on his social networks.
