Samuel L. Jackson may have revealed his presence as Nick Fury in an upcoming MCU movie.
Marvel Fans Already Know Samuel L. Jackson Will Appear As Nick Fury In The Next Series Secret Invasion for Disney+, but the actor may have revealed another movie he’ll appear in in the MCU.
In addition to the Skrull-themed streaming series, Jackson has already confirmed that he will appear in The Marvelsthe Captain Marvel sequel starring Brie Larson, which will include characters Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris of WandaVison) and Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani de Miss Marvel), but in a new interview, he may have revealed his presence on the set of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
In a new episode of the Happy Sad Confused podcast with Josh Horowitz, Jackson said: “When I was in London recently, it was [Ant-Man et la Guêpe: Quantumania]and [The Marvels] who were turning and preparing to do [Secret Invasion]. So it was like three Marvel movies on one plot. I was running all over the place from place to place” says Jackson.
Many have interpreted this quote from the actor as confirmation that he will appear in all three projects, but this has not been confirmed. As we know, Marvel sometimes films elements for one project on the set of another, so there’s no guarantee that Jackson will appear in Ant-Man 3he did not appear in either of the other two films Ant-Man.
To date, Jackson has appeared in 11 Marvel Studios feature films while his initial contract with the company covered nine appearances. That kind of studio deal isn’t really common anymore, and Jackson discussed his out-of-this-world deal: “Well, you know, it’s kind of weird when someone tells you they’re going to give you a nine-movie deal,” Jackson said.
“You know, you’re like, ‘How long am I going to stay alive to make nine movies?’ Because before, it took time to make a film. It still does, but they do two or three at a time. In the Marvel Universe…that’s crazy. »
The Secret Invasion series does not yet have a release date. The Marvels will be in theaters on February 17, 2023 and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will follow on July 28 of the same year.
