Elaf: A message of hope with national and humanitarian dimensions, launched by the composer and soprano Dr. Hiba al-Qawas, through her new song “Lebanon Return Hope”, composed for her music, and written in poetry by the former Saudi ambassador to Lebanon, His Excellency Dr. Abdel Aziz Khoja.
An elite group of press and media, diplomatic, cultural, artistic and social figures gathered at the Lebanese National Museum to share al-Qawas’ launch of her song in a press conference in which the song was presented through a video film produced by “Heba al-Qawas International Foundation”.
A group of media professionals and journalists from the Arab world, representing their media outlets, participated in the celebration, through direct interaction and asking questions regarding the new work of Qawas.
The media conference was presented by Magda Dagher, who stressed in her speech the cultural struggle represented in cultural and artistic works aimed at confronting what the Lebanese entity is exposed to through cultural projects that embody the Lebanese will to continue and challenge.
Addressing the journalists and the audience, al-Qawas spoke regarding the new song and everything that accompanied its production and release, in parallel to the most difficult circumstances that Lebanon has gone through. Our cosmic extension.
Music always builds bridges, and today we are extending a musical bridge that embodies our cry, we Lebanese, a bridge that clings to the whole world.”

As for the Minister of Culture, Judge Dr. Muhammad Mortada, he said in his speech: “Lebanon is the homeland that is haunted by inspiration, on whose peaks the wind plays melodies, the sea on its shores melodies, and in its plains there are fertile shrines; Today, it appears in its National Museum as a “gift” with the flavor of poetry, tone and voice.
The press conference featured a remarkable participation by the media partner of the launch event, the media and business woman, Dr. Nashwa Al-Ruwaini, through a video clip dedicated to the launch event, in which she spoke regarding the role of Hiba Al-Qawas in spreading culture and building cultural bridges between the Arab world and the world, and stressed the importance of this role, especially in the current time.
In conclusion, the new video song “Lebanon Returns to Hope” was shown amid the interaction of the attendees and their influence on the content of the song, its music and its national message.
