The Intel Core i9-12900KS processor has 16 cores and 24 threadswhich can reach a boost clock speed of up to 5.5 GHzplacing itself above the 12900K model in terms of speed and performance.
It is said that this processor will compete with the Ryzen 7 5800X3D from AMD when it launches in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, they are already testing it once morest AMD’s most powerful model, such as the Ryzen 9 5950X 16 cores and 32 threads.

According to the evidence provided by Seby, the Core i9-12900KS gets 2162 points in the monocore test and 29164 points in the multicore test. These results show that the core i9-12900KS it’s a 29,6% faster than the Ryzen 9 5950X in the single core test and a 9,7% faster in multicore test.
The processor is identified with a PBP de 150W (PL1). The PBP is regarding 25W above the traditional 12900K model. The model also lacks the AVX-512 instructions, confirming that Intel would have completely removed this feature.
