The Sandbox (March 16) announced a partnership with HSBC on Twitter, becoming the first global financial services company to enter the Sandbox Metaverse.

The statement said HSBC will buy a piece of land in the Sandbox metaverse to develop the land to attract sports, e-sports and gaming fans. HSBC has not yet announced its development plan for the virtual land, but in the GIF released with the post, there is a sports field with the HSBC logo and a virtual lake next to it.
Suresh Balaji, Chief Marketing Officer of HSBC Asia Pacific, said that HSBC believes that there is great potential through emerging platforms, and hopes to create new experiences for new and existing customers of the bank through cooperation with The Sandbox.
HSBC is another well-known global brand entering the Sandbox Metaverse following Gucci, South China Music, The Walking Dead, Snoop Dogg and Adidas.
