The government will help Moroccan students in Russia

Speaking at a press briefing at the end of the government council, Mr. Baitas said that a meeting is scheduled for Thursday evening at the level of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, to examine the various aspects of this subject.

This decision, he stressed, stems from the government’s awareness of the situation of Moroccan students in Russia, given the difficulty of receiving money transfers from their families and relatives following the decision to withdraw Russia of the SWIFT system in the wake of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.

This meeting will bring together officials from the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Foreign Exchange Office and the professional group of banks in Morocco, he said.
