Doha: The Mohammad Sabeeh Bukhari Memorial Cup Tournament, organized by the Qatar Indian Social Forum in conjunction with the official initiatives of Qatar National Sports Day and Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, came to a brilliant conclusion. The two-week tournament concluded at the Al Jazeera Academy Grounds in Abu Hamour.
Fifty Qatari teams competed in football, volleyball, kabaddi and tug-of-war. Social Forum Karnataka won the title by defeating Social Forum Kerala in football. The team defeated Iwak in the volleyball tournament, with Wolikh Doha and Hasanasco Etim winning the kabaddi title. The 16-team team defeated Tirur in the final of the tug-of-war to clinch the Zac Qatar Trophy. The Curved Rebels won first place in the March Past. Guests distributed trophies to the winners at the closing ceremony.
Indian Embassy First Secretary (Head of Chancery) Suman Songar was the Chief Guest.
