The former post-conflict minister, Rafael Pardo, was rushed this Wednesday to a clinic in Bogotá as a result of a relapse in his health.
The liberal leader remains hospitalized, but his health is stable. According to his relatives, Pardo underwent a catheterization and is currently recovering from the medical procedure.
The former minister attended some political appointments during the beginning of the week, among them a personal meeting with former Vice President Germán Vargas Lleras this Wednesday followingnoon at his home in Bogotá, where they discussed the presidential elections.
Although Pardo’s health is stable, at the time the news concerned him because in 2019 he underwent heart surgery where they performed maintenance on an aortic operation that was performed more than 23 years ago and He later suffered from an aneurysm.
Pardo’s state of health has aroused solidarity from different political sectors.
