Video: The Serbian Ambassador presents the exhibition of the Archives of Yugoslavia on Infomédiaire TV

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Morocco, Ivan Bauer, inaugurated on Tuesday the exhibition of the Archives of Yugoslavia at the National Library of the Kingdom of Morocco, rich in documents dating back 65 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

In a statement, the Serbian diplomatic representation said that the opening of “the exhibition, organized on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Serbia and the Kingdom of Morocco, was marked by the presence of a large number of guests from the diplomatic corps”.

This exhibition marks one of the activities through which Serbian culture and tradition will be presented to the Moroccan public as part of the “Year of Serbia in Morocco”, added the same source. “The exhibition features posters with documents showing the friendly relations and mutual support that have made the ties between the Republic of Serbia and the Kingdom of Morocco so strong over the decades,” the Embassy stressed, noting that this exhibition also premiered a short documentary on the visit of the President of the SFRY, Josip Broz Tito to Morocco in 1961.

Besides Ambassador Ivan Bauer, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication, Abdelilah Afifi, the Deputy Minister of Culture and Information of Serbia, Danijela Vanusic and the Director of the Archives of Yugoslavia , Milan Terzic, also spoke at the exhibition, the statement concluded.
